

"A Wizard's Lizard" is certainly a welcome Change, yet €15 seems incredibly expensive to me for the relatively small Scope I see so far in this Game. It offers more for less Money, but I don't want to vehemently advertise another Game at this Point. It seems to me, however, a nice time distribution, but so far I think that you should invest your Money in "The Binding of Isaac" if you really want to get one of these Games. I cannot conclude in any Way, but I do not have enough Playing time. Individual Spaces seem to me personally to be totally overloaded and take away my personal Overview, this might of course be wanted, but it just seems disturbing to me.Īnother Criticism would be that the Rooms are also, even if only quite sporadically, quite unfairly structured, I find it extremely annoying when I enter a Room and take direct Damage. You run with your Character through a randomly generated Dungeon, where you have to eliminate Enemies within different Rooms and also collect Gold to invest this In items. The Gameplay principle is the same in itself and, from a Purely Gameplay, there are only relatively marginal Differences. In itself, "A Wizard's Lizard" is a nice Rogue-Like Game for in between with really many Parallels to "The Binding of Isaac," I wouldn't directly call it Plagiarism, especially since completely new Ideas became involved in the Game. Level equal-no Storage Stands can be created-weapons distributed "unfairly" (sometimes I find no Weapons in 3 Runs in a row, another Time 2 at a Level) opponents (especially the Owls) are t.w. + cute Graphics + simple Control + once you're dead, you automatically spawned as a Ghost again +/-three different "Attack types" +/-spatial Arrangement changes when a new Game starts, but opponent types remain in the void. The complete Absence of Memory Stalls frustrates in the Long run, especially when there Are umpteen enemies in a Room and all go on one. A Word in advance: This Game is clearly not suitable for Beginners of the Rogue Genre * grummel *.
